![]() Below, you will find the most effective ways to fix these problems. Fortunately, there’s still a way to fix these crashing issues in Dead Space 2. ![]() This makes Dead Space 2 totally unplayable. Some of these issues are the Dead Space 2 crashing, and worse, the game crashes during startup. I've also had issues with corpses continuing to tumble around the place and in one room there were a bunch of corpses jiggling around like they were being electrocuted.Since the release of the Dead Space 2, players have been reporting several issues. On the PS3 the controls feel fine but I would like to play the PC version with its better visuals and potentially better framerate (as I'd say this game is supposed to run at 60Hz if the aiming speed at this framerate is anything to go by). ![]() I didn't believe this was how the game was supposed to feel so I actually downloaded the PS3 version as it is currently discounted on PSN. Aiming doesn't feel too bad but moving the camera never feels right and the aiming speed seems to be tied to the refresh/fps. No matter which setting I use, the controls feel bad. I've tried setting v-sync both in game and in my GFX card control panel and both cause a lot of input lag and make the controls feel awful, which brings me to my next problem. I then tried at 120 Hz and it runs at 60 fps, though the contrast isn't as good on my monitor at 120Hz and being the game isn't ultra fast paced the greater contrast would be better for atmosphere. I've tried running without v-sync too but it makes lighting effects look almost as if the graphics are glitching due to extreme tearing. I first tried the game with v-sync enabled but for some reason it runs at 30 fps.
